But making a good treat bag is tough.  When you consider the number of things that you can put in there, it is tough.  Many parents cave in from the stress of creating treat bags, and just buy one of those pre-made ones you can find in the store.  I really wanted to stand out of the crowd and do things myself, and it was going to require a bit of thought.

First, I started off buying some bulk candy to put in the bags.  I found a variety of kinds (some of which I liked when I was a kid) and put them in the bag.  Next, I found some balloons, toys, trinkets, pencils, stickers and just about everything else I could think of at our dollar store.  They didn’t have any bags that I really liked, so I bought some online.  It took awhile, but I was able to assemble all the parts that I needed for the treat bags.

Now, all I have to do is put them together.  I think that I am going to enlist the help of my son to assemble the bags, and it should be fun.  I think his friends will really like the treat bags that they get to take home and I really hope they like his birthday party too.  Even though kids can be a lot of work, they are a lot of fun too!

One of the most important factors to consider is which type of flooring to use. High traffic areas which are susceptible to damage, and those which have an outdoor entrance need a type of flooring that can stand up to these requirements. Vinyl, ceramic, or laminate flooring may be good options here. Hardwood flooring, and carpeting, however, can add a luxurious touch to an otherwise unremarkable space.

Another consideration is the tone of the floor. That is, whether you want to install a darker, or lighter floor in the room in question. A darker color can make a large, empty room feel cozier. A lighter floor can make a small, cramped space be perceived as brighter and more spacious.

Finally, choose the color and style which best suit your tastes. When you have a good idea of the type, style, and color of the floor you are interested in, find several examples and compare them. If at all possible, get samples to take home—they may appear better (or worse) when viewed in your home’s lighting and with your current furnishings. This common-sense approach will help your flooring project be successful.
